About Our Farm

The Zuber Farm was founded in 1945, when our great grandparents Peter (pictured above) and Helen Zuber purchased 36 Old Fall River Road in North Dartmouth. It was a dairy farm consisting of approximately 33 acres of land.

In 1951, the Zuber’s then purchased the front parcel of 40 Old Fall River Road when the property went up for auction. This established the 65 acre Zuber Family Farm as it is today. It was managed by our late grandfather, Frederick T. Zuber. He became a renown dairy farmer that mastered milk production.

Fifteen years later, Frederick took on the work of Westlook Farm, a Charolais beef farm in neighboring Westport, MA. In 1980, Frederick started his own herd of beef cattle in Dartmouth, MA assisted by our father, Richard Zuber. The farm is currently run by Rick, his children and grandchildren. Together our family has maintained a lifestyle that fosters nutritious food, hard work and sustainability. We hope to share our healthy, local meat with you and yours!

Let our family, feed your family!
